Activity description
The Ancient Sunken City Tour is an immersion in Ancient Greek history and mythology. Using our good quality sit-in kayaks as a means of transportation, we aim to create an experiential learning activity, as we enjoy the stunning coastline, stopping at two archaeological sites
Our first site is the Small Ancient Theatre of Epidavros, built in the 4th century B.C. where we share plenty of interesting facts about the site as well as Ancient Greek history and mythology.
Our second site is none other than the Ancient Sunken City, which is only two meters in depth. This makes it a terrific location for underwater site-seeing, snorkelling and underwater pictures before we enjoy a buffet-style picnic with fruits and homemade cake.
For people who have chosen the extended version (6h), we then paddle to a pristine, isolated beach to have our cooked homemade lunch. After some snorkelling or sunbathing, you will return to the orginal departure point happy with a day well-spent!
